Opening of New Freeway Interchange Eases Kapolei Traffic

Finally, the project that began in 2009 and was over 94% federally funded, has been completed! This should help ease traffic and help businesses in downtown Kapolei. This is a good sign for encouraging growth in our second city, and some added help for those who live out on the West side.

Worries About Debris From Japanese Tsunami Continues

What type of debris are we going to see on our shores from Japan’s recent tsunami? Will it affect our fishing and recreation? Hopefully the $1 million appropriation by Senator Inouye will address our concerns.
